Marie-Claude Bettencourt is a dedicated facilitator, a mother of five, and a retired army physician. As a board-certified urologist, she has firsthand experience with the challenges of work-life balance and physician burnout. Certified in The HERD approach to equine-facilitated learning, she combines her medical background and deep love for horses to support professionals seeking resilience and renewal. Through equine-assisted learning, she helps medical professionals reconnect with themselves, find balance, and rediscover their strength.

Our equine partners, Romeo and Jet, bring their own strengths to the experience. Romeo, a lively and personable Percheron, thrives on human interaction and creates a welcoming space for self-reflection. Jet, a seasoned Quarter Horse, offers quiet wisdom and grounding presence, guiding participants through moments of insight and growth. Through interactive groundwork and facilitated exercises, our program fosters communication, emotional regulation, and leadership skills, providing a meaningful path toward well-being.
